Endeavor Staff
Anita Scism is President and CEO of Endeavor Foundation. Scism works closely with Endeavor's Board of Directors and is responsible for the overall management and leadership of Endeavor.
Anita has worked in the banking, legal, corporate and nonprofit sectors. In 2008, she was appointed President and CEO of Endeavor Foundation. She was previously President/CEO of Walton Arts Center, Arkansas' largest and busiest center for the performing arts. During her seventeen year tenure with the arts center, she represented the nation before the National Council for the Arts of the National Endowment for the Arts in Washington, DC. She was one of six arts presenter delegates from the United States to USA-China Cultural Exchange in Beijing and Shanghai, China. She served two terms as a Director on the national Board of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters in Washington, DC, serving as Treasurer of the organization.
Anita was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas. She is a member of the Council on Foundations. She has two sons, Emery and Ben, and her first grandchild, Reed. Scism lives in Rogers, AR.
Justin Rucker is Endeavor’s Vice President of Development and Donor Relations. Justin works as an informational and educational resource for current and prospective donors, serving as their point-of-contact with the Foundation. Justin keeps Endeavor’s donors up to speed on special initiatives and on community issues.
An attorney, Justin helps the entire Endeavor family understand the laws and regulations that apply to the Foundation and its individual funds. He also provides planned giving expertise when needed. He works closely with the professional advisor community.
A graduate of Henderson State and the University of Arkansas School of Law, Justin practiced estate planning and family law before he came to Endeavor. He has also developed long-range financial plans, researched equities and hedge funds, managed investment accounts, and sold insurance products.
Justin lives in Fayetteville with his wife and two daughters.
Lisa McCullough is Endeavor’s Chief Financial and Operating Officer. She is responsible for the finance, accounting, and human resource functions of the foundation. Lisa works closely with Endeavor’s Audit and Finance Committees, providing financial and operational information and developing recommendations on strategy and operations.
A Kansas City native, Lisa has lived in Fayetteville for the past twenty-three years. She has two children, Emily, a 2011 graduate of the University of Arkansas, and Tyler, a student athlete at Fayetteville High School. Lisa has been an active volunteer in the Fayetteville Public Schools for the past eleven years and is currently treasurer of the Fayetteville High School PTSO.
Lisa holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and earned her C.P.A. in 1985. She has twenty years of diversified accounting, tax and management experience in varied industries including retail, manufacturing, health care, construction, real estate development, trucking, and public accounting.
Regina Mitchell is Endeavor’s first point-of-contact with the public. She makes sure that you get the information you need and that you talk to the person best suited to meet your needs. She also provides administrative support to Endeavor’s President and to the Chief Finance and Operating Officer.
Regina gave 12 years of service to the Springdale Public Schools and spent 18 years working in Northwest Arkansas medical facilities, providing clinical, clerical, and technical support. She attended the University of Arkansas and has been a resident of Springdale for over 30 years.
As Program Assistant, Seth plays an active role in the research and conceptualization of Endeavor’s current grants and programs, including working on new programs and Initiatives.
Seth has been everything from a school bus driver to a job coach for adults with mental or physical disabilities to a fundraiser. He spent nearly a decade as a campus minister. Seth is passionate about helping people. After many years of fundraising he is excited to help Endeavor make grants that make a real difference in the lives of the people and communities of Northwest Arkansas.
Seth earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing at the University of Kansas and a Masters of Education in Higher Education Administration at the University of Arkansas. Born and raised in Springdale, Seth lives in Fayetteville with his wife, Mindy, and their four children.
Executive Board Members
Dennis Smiley is President and CEO of Arvest Bank Springdale. Dennis serves on the Boards of the Arts Center of the Ozarks, Ozark Guidance Center Foundation, Northwest Arkansas Community College Foundation, Jones Center for Families, and is a member of Cross Church in Springdale. Dennis is the past President of the Springdale Rotary Club, the past Chairman of the Springdale Chamber of Commerce and the past Campaign Chairman for the United Way of Washington County.
Lisa is President and CEO of Arvest Bank in Siloam Springs, where she resides with her family. Lisa enjoys community service, including serving on the boards of two NWA Chambers of Commerce, Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, Circle of Life Hospice, Siloam Springs High School Scholarship Committee, and the American Heart Association.
Lisa was named Woman of the Year at her college in 1983 and again in NWA at the Women’s Conference in 2003. Lisa has a passion for serving her community and finding ways to teach and help others.
Charles Rateliff retired from Walmart Stores as a Senior Vice President after a 25-year career. During his career he held responsibilities for all the Benefit Plans, Insurance, Aviation Department, Travel, Risk Management, and Domestic and International Security. Charles is active in The Influencers and The Daily Walk Christian ministries, the Benton County Literacy Council, is a Northwest Health Systems Board member, and a member of First Baptist Church in Bentonville. In addition, he enjoys working on his real estate projects and consulting business.
